Emina is a curly Boston fern with upright fronds made of tightly curled, ruffled leaflets. It stays more compact and tidy than a classic Boston fern, and it's safe around cats and dogs.
| Botanical name | Nephrolepis exaltata 'Emina' |

| Light | Medium to bright, indirect |
| Mature size | About 1 to 1.5 feet tall |

How to care for it
- Light: medium to bright, indirect light. Direct sun scorches the fronds.
- Water: keep the soil evenly moist, never soggy. Don't let it dry out completely.
- Humidity: average to high. It's a bit more forgiving than a classic Boston fern.
- Temperature: 60 to 80°F, away from heat vents and drafts.
Common questions
Is it safe for cats and dogs?
Yes. The ASPCA lists the Boston fern as non-toxic to cats and dogs. A pet that eats a lot of any plant may get a mild upset stomach, but it won't be poisoned.
Why are the fronds turning brown and crispy?
Usually the soil dried out or the air is too dry. Keep the soil evenly moist and raise the humidity. Trim off damaged fronds and new ones will grow in.
Ships in its nursery pot. Decorative pots in the photos are not included.
