    "Palm" and "fern" cover safe and toxic plants alike, so we start with the exact scientific name.

    It has to be listed as non-toxic for cats and dogs. One out of two isn't enough.

Are all of your plants safe for cats and dogs?
Yes. Every plant we sell is listed as non-toxic to both cats and dogs on the ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center plant lists. If a plant is on the toxic list for either one, we don't carry it. Non-toxic doesn't mean edible: a pet that eats a lot of any plant can get a mild upset stomach, but it won't be poisoned. How we check
Is shipping really free?
Yes, shipping is free on every order to the contiguous United States. Orders usually ship within 1 to 3 business days. During extreme heat or cold we may hold an order for a few days so your plant doesn't arrive damaged, and we'll email you if we do.
What if my plant arrives damaged?
Every order is covered by our 30-day plant health guarantee. Email support@rootandreachbotanicals.com with your order number and photos within 48 hours of delivery and we'll send a replacement or a refund. Guarantee details

Do your plants come in a decorative pot?
Plants ship in their nursery pot so they travel safely and you can choose a pot that fits your space. Each product page lists the pot size.
What should I do if my pet eats a plant?
If it's one of our plants, it isn't toxic, so watch for mild stomach upset and call your vet if it lasts. If you aren't sure what the plant is, call your vet or the ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center at (888) 426-4435 right away (a fee may apply).
