Common questions
Is it safe for cats and dogs?
Yes. Bromeliads are non-toxic to cats and dogs. A pet that eats a lot of any plant may get a mild upset stomach, but it won't be poisoned.
What happens after it flowers?
The pink flower head lasts for months. Afterward the mother plant slowly fades and produces baby plants, called pups, at its base. Once pups are a third the size of the mother, you can pot them up.
Ships in its nursery pot. Decorative pots in the photos are not included.
