Krimson Princess has waxy leaves with creamy yellow and pink centers edged in green, and new growth that often comes in bright pink. It's one of the most colorful hoyas and safe around cats and dogs.

How to care for it
- Light: bright, indirect light keeps the pink and cream centers vivid.
- Water: let the soil dry out almost completely, then water thoroughly. The waxy leaves store water.
- Soil: a chunky, fast-draining mix in a pot with a drainage hole.
- Flowers: don't cut off the old flower spurs. Hoyas rebloom from the same spot.

Is it safe for cats and dogs?
Yes. The ASPCA lists the wax plant (Hoya carnosa) as non-toxic to cats and dogs. A pet that eats a lot of any plant may get a mild upset stomach, but it won't be poisoned.
Why is it losing its color?
The pink and cream need light. Move it to a brighter spot, out of harsh direct sun, and new growth should color up.
