Tricolor hoya has waxy leaves variegated in green, cream and pink, with new growth that often comes in bright pink. Mature plants bloom with clusters of fragrant, star-shaped flowers. It's safe around cats and dogs.

How to care for it
- Light: bright, indirect light brings out the pink and encourages flowers.
- Water: let the soil dry out almost completely, then water thoroughly. The waxy leaves store water.
- Soil: a chunky, fast-draining mix in a pot with a drainage hole.
- Flowers: don't cut off the old flower spurs. Hoyas rebloom from the same spot.

Is it safe for cats and dogs?
Yes. The ASPCA lists the wax plant (Hoya carnosa) as non-toxic to cats and dogs. A pet that eats a lot of any plant may get a mild upset stomach, but it won't be poisoned.
Why is it losing its pink color?
The pink needs light. Move it to a brighter spot, out of harsh direct sun, and new growth should color up.

I ordered two of the 4 inch hoya carnosa tricolors. I received my plants today! They are in great condition, and were packed very well. The variegation is beautiful. I'm really excited to watch these babies grow!
